We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Merthyr Tydfil. Key Responsibilities:
As a Primary School Teaching Assistant based in Merthyr Tydfil, your daily duties will include:
Providing general classroom support to teachers and pupils within the foundation phase
Assisting in creating a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Supporting the delivery of planned lessons and activities, ensuring all pupils are engaged
Encouraging positive behaviour and social development among students
Supporting individual pupils' needs to help them achieve their full potential
Collaborating with staff to plan and implement work tailored to student requirements
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will need:
Experience working with children, preferably within a primary education setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for helping children learn and develop
Reliable, adaptable, and proactive attitude
Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
DBS check or willingness to obtain one
