Job Description:
Our client, a leading organisation in housing and support services, is seeking a dedicated Supported Housing Manager to oversee service delivery across multiple projects in Cardiff. This role involves working closely with teams to ensure high-quality support for vulnerable individuals, including those with complex needs, in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Supported Housing Manager based in Cardiff, your daily duties will include:

Leading and managing teams to deliver housing-related support to vulnerable individuals aged 16 and over.
Overseeing project performance, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and organisational standards.
Building and maintaining effective relationships with statutory and voluntary agencies, including Social Services and Housing.
Managing referrals, risk assessments, safeguarding concerns, and safety planning to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals supported.
Participating in the on-call rota, providing telephone and in-person support outside of standard hours.
Monitoring budgets, authorising expenditure, and ensuring financial procedures are followed.
Contributing to continuous service improvement through audits, case reviews, and reflective practice sessions.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Supported Housing Manager, you will need:

An educational qualification such as a Diploma level or equivalent (QCF Level 2 or 3).
Proven experience in line management within a support environment, supporting individuals with complex needs, including mental health, trauma, or substance misuse.
Knowledge of housing and homelessness issues affecting vulnerable populations.
Experience in risk management, safeguarding, and safety planning.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with partner agencies and support teams.
A driving licence and access to a car.
