What Will You Be Doing?

As a Maths Supply Teacher, you'll play an important role in maintaining high-quality teaching and supporting student progress.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of varying abilities.

Planning and adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs and encourage student participation.

Supporting student progress through assessment, feedback and targeted learning activities.

Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Working alongside the Mathematics Department to ensure continuity of learning and maintain high teaching standards.

Supporting the wider school community through effective communication and collaboration with colleagues.

What Are We Looking For?

We're looking for a passionate and adaptable teacher who is confident in the classroom and committed to helping students succeed.

The ideal candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, including an Enhanced DBS Check.

Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.
