About the role
We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Prepper/Polisher to join our busy bodyshop based in Glasgow / Glasgow East.
The job in a nutshell
- Salary: £17.28 per hour
- Monday to Friday 07:00 – 17:00
- 28 days paid holiday
- Overtime available
- Glasgow / Glasgow East
- Type of employment: Permanent
- Vehicle Prepper/Polisher
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepping vehicles prior to painting.
- Performing sanding and masking tasks.
- Conducting filler work and small repairs.
- Machine polishing.
- Undertaking rectification of scratches and scuffs.
- Flattening, polishing, and touching up.
- Inspecting finished vehicles to ensure a flawless finish every time.
- Performing other assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role (Bodyshop Technician, Painter, or Prepper)
- Full UK or EU Driving Licence (manual and automatic)
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
