Sales Order Processor / Account Manager

Salary: £26,000–£28,000 DOE
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sales Order Processor / Account Manager to join a growing packaging and fulfilment business.

We are looking for an organised, customer-focused individual who can manage customer orders from initial enquiry through to delivery, while building strong relationships and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer orders accurately from order to delivery.
• Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of customers.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Prepare quotations, order confirmations and relevant documentation.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, production and warehouse teams to ensure orders are delivered on time.
• Monitor order progress and proactively resolve any issues or delays.
• Handle customer enquiries by phone and email.
• Maintain accurate customer and order records.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and develop existing accounts.
• Provide regular updates to customers throughout the order process.

About You

• Previous experience in sales administration, order processing, account management or customer service.
• Experience within packaging, fulfilment, manufacturing or a similar environment would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Confident communicator with a professional and friendly approach.
• Able to manage multiple orders and priorities in a busy environment.
• Strong IT skills and comfortable using Microsoft Office.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
