Location: Grantham
Salary: £19.50 per hour (£40,560 per annum) + overtime at 1.5x OTE: £46,000+
Hours: 40 hours per week, rotating shifts
Shifts: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm / 2:00pm–10:00pm
Job Type: Full Time | Permanent

Tru Talent is delighted to be working with a leading commercial vehicle dealership looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join their busy workshop in Grantham.

The Role

Your responsibilities as a HGV Technician will include:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Carrying out inspections, PMIs and MOT preparation.
• Completing preventative maintenance and warranty paperwork.
• Supporting roadside breakdowns when required.
• Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

About You

To be successful as the HGV Technician you will have:

• A Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Main dealer experience (advantageous, but not essential).
