Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Adult Learning Disability Support Worker to join a specialised team in Caldicot, Newport. Key Responsibilities
As an Adult Learning Disability Support Worker based in Caldicot, your daily duties will include:

Providing person-centred therapeutic care and support tailored to individual needs
Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents’ conditions and progress to ensure high standards of dignity and respect
Assisting residents with daily activities, personal care, and promoting social inclusion and independence
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, personalised care plans

Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as an Adult Learning Disability Support Worker, you will need:

A minimum of 6 months’ experience in a social care setting
Empathy, resilience, and a genuine desire to improve outcomes for adults with learning disabilities
Ability to obtain or hold a current Enhanced DBS check on the update service
The right to work in the UK
Willingness to undertake practical training at a subsidised cost (if not already completed) and complete online training modules (free of charge)
