1-2-1 Teaching Assistant

Hoop Education is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate 1-2-1 Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistants to support pupils in schools across Porthcawl. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by providing tailored support to learners who require additional assistance to reach their full potential.
Your Role:

Provide 1-2-1 support to pupils with additional learning needs
Adapt learning activities to suit individual abilities and learning styles
Encourage confidence, independence, and engagement in the classroom
Support pupils with emotional and behavioural needs where required
Assist with daily classroom routines and organisation
Monitor and report on pupil progress and development
Work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver personalised support

About You:

Experience in education, childcare, or support work
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Relevant qualifications or training are beneficial but not essential
