An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing packaging and fulfilment business.

We are looking for a proven sales professional from the packaging industry who can identify new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships and drive revenue growth across a range of packaging solutions.

The Role

• Develop and win new business within the packaging sector.
• Identify and target new customers across relevant markets.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to securing the contract.
• Understand customer requirements and work with internal teams to develop the right packaging solutions.
• Generate leads through proactive business development, networking and market activity.
• Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio where required.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and close deals.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.

About You

• Essential: Proven experience within the packaging industry.
• Strong track record in B2B sales and business development.
• Confident winning new business and developing existing accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially driven with a strong desire to achieve targets.
• Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently.
• Knowledge of packaging products, solutions and the wider packaging market.
• Full UK driving licence.
