About the Role

We are seeking to appoint to the role of IT Test Lead.

 

As a member of the IT Test Team, this role is integral to YPO’s IT function, providing leadership, guidance, and mentoring to testers while driving adherence to testing standards, best practices, and documentation requirements. The IT Test Lead will participate in project scoping, planning, and delivery activities, ensuring all changes undergo robust, auditable testing before being released into the live environment. 

 

This post is subject to the Fluency Duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016. The post-holder is required to demonstrate an appropriate level of fluency under the duty as detailed within the job description and specification for the post.

About You

As YPO continues to expand, we are seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our team. Drawing from the skills and experience section of the Job Description, we seek someone who has:

Degree-level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience gained through relevant professional practice.

 
Experience of working with test automation tools and frameworks and possess a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
 An ISTQB Foundation certification, or equivalent testing experience, is essential. Further professional certification at ISTQB Intermediate or Test Manager level would be advantageous.

Strong leadership, mentoring, planning, and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to lead and coordinate testing activities to support successful project delivery.
