Business Accountant

P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking Business Accountant to join their team based in Lowestoft on a full-time, permanent basis.Role Summary:You will take the ownership of the day-to-day finance function, and not afraid to get involved, while also supporting the development and growth of the company through improved systems and processes.Main Responsibilities:Complete month-end processes and produce monthly Management Accounts.Prepare budgets and report on variances.Weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.Perform weekly bank reconciliations and liaise with the bank.Submit quarterly Group VAT data to accountants, review, and process payments.Raise sales invoices and manage credit control.Assist in staff recruitment, management, and development of the department as the company grows.Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.Process and pay supplier invoices.Monitor performance against financial targets and recommend actions.Continuously improve finance department processes to meet changing business needs.Experience and Qualifications:AAT qualified (or higher) or qualified by experience.Experience in management accounting.A proactive approach to system and process improvement and financial controls.Working Hours and Benefits:Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per weekCompetitive salary, commensurate with experience and qualificationsHoliday allowanceFriendly and professional workplace cultureIf this is a role you are interested in, please apply online ensuring your CV is up to date....
