Contract: Fixed Term
Are you ready to be the highlight of a child's school day?
We are looking for a creative, energetic, and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a vibrant school community in Tamworth. Whether you're a specialist in the early magic of Key Stage 1 or the academic challenges of Key Stage 2, we want a teacher who can turn a lesson plan into an unforgettable experience.
This is a full-time, temporary role for a professional who thrives on variety and is ready to take ownership of their own classroom.
What's in it for you?
- Competitive Pay: £140 - £233 per day, strictly adhered to MPS/UPS scales and paid weekly via Randstad.
- Supportive Environment: Work in a school that values "teamwork over silos," with shared planning and collaborative resources.
- Professional Growth: Access to a robust CPD program to help you stay at the forefront of primary pedagogy.
- Immediate Impact: Step into a welcoming classroom and start making a difference from Day 1.
The Ideal "All-Rounder"
We want to hear from you if you:
- Are Qualified: You hold QTS (we love supporting Early Career Teachers/ECTs!).
- Are Passionate: You have a genuine love for primary education and a knack for making even the trickiest subjects accessible.
- Are Engaging: You have excellent classroom management skills and can keep 30 different personalities focused and motivated.
- Are Safe: You are 100% committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child.
Your Core Responsibilities
- Plan & Deliver: Create high-quality, engaging lessons across the full Primary National Curriculum.
- Nurture: Create a classroom "family" where every child feels safe, respected, and ready to learn.
- Assess: Use formative and supportive assessments to track progress and ensure no child is left behind.
- Partner: Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and your team of Teaching Assistants to support every pupil's journey.
