Production OperativeAM2PM are recruiting for Production Operatives to work for one of our clients in the Ashton-Under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, OL6 area.
Job Details:
- Location: Ashton-Under-Lyne, Greater Manchester
- Shifts:
- Morning Shift: 6 am - 2 pm (Friday: 6 am - 1 pm)
- Afternoon Shift: 2 pm - 10 pm (Friday: 1 pm - 8 pm)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
Requirements of a Production Operative:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with machine operations (training will be provided for specific machinery).
- The ability to work towards daily targets and KPIs.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude to learning new skills.
- The ability to reliably arrive by 6 am for morning shifts.
- Full-time availability, Monday to Friday (this role is not suitable for students).
Responsibilities of a Production Operative:
As a Production Operative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating various machines to manufacture soft furnishings.
- Packing finished goods on the conveyor belt.
- Performing warehouse duties such as picking, packing, loading, and unloading trailers.
- Meeting daily production targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensuring the smooth operation of production processes.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
