About the role
Data Engineer to collaborate with data scientists to maintain strict control on data cleaning workflows to power investment decisions.
We operate a distributed team and are offering an opportunity to work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Head of Data Platform to design and build an efficient and scalable data platform
- Develop efficient and robust ETL and data management frameworks to collect and deploy large amounts of data
- Collaborate with the Head of Data Platform, Data Scientists and Investment Professionals
- Manage and integrate 3rd party APIs to collect data at scale
Requirements
- 3 years Python/Data Engineering expertise
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Fluency in Python, SQL, Unix Shell.
- Experience with TDD, CI/CD
- Experience in custom ETL design
- Experience with workflow orchestrators, such as Airflow.
- Experience working with Big Data/MPP analytics platform.
- Domain knowledge (investments/finance) is a plus.
