Why Join Nurtured Childcare?

At Nurtured Childcare, we believe that working in early years is about so much more than simply looking after children.

You’ll be a games maker, a singing partner, a storyteller, a toilet buddy, a hug giver and the person children look to for guidance and reassurance throughout their day.

You may not be the greatest singer, but the children won’t care! They’ll still sing along with you at the top of their voices.

You’ll join them on magical adventures as they create fantasy worlds in our gardens, explore our beautiful rooms and discover something new every day.

We believe in supporting our people too. You’ll receive support from experienced Room Leaders and Managers, whilst having opportunities to develop your own early years career and work towards additional qualifications.

The Role:

As an SEN Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the children in your care and creating an environment where they can learn, explore and flourish.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Build warm, nurturing relationships with children and their families.

• Act as a key person, providing guidance, reassurance and support throughout each child’s day.

• Create fun, engaging and age-appropriate experiences that support children’s development.

• Follow the EYFS curriculum and deliver learning experiences to the highest possible standards.

• Encourage children to explore, develop their independence and build confidence.

• Create a safe, caring and welcoming environment where children feel happy and secure.

• Observe and document children’s adventures, learning and development to share with parents and colleagues.

• Ensure your key children are supported to flourish in an enabling and stimulating environment.

• Work closely with Room Leaders and Managers to support the development of every child.

• Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures and report any concerns immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who is caring, enthusiastic and passionate about helping young children learn and grow.

• Level 2 Early Years qualification.

• A genuine passion for working with young children.

• A caring, patient and nurturing approach.
