Care Assistant - Complex Care

Location: Worthing, West Sussex

Pay: £12.71–£16.00 per hour

Shifts: 12-hour day and night shifts

Hours: Full-time and part-time available

Our client has a busy, fulfilling life. She works, enjoys reading, writing, travelling, theatre, cinema and spending time with family and friends.

She's looking for someone who can provide excellent care while respecting her independence, personal space and everyday routines.

She knows exactly how she likes things done and values carers who listen, follow her lead and provide support without taking over.

Whether she's working, enjoying a social occasion or simply relaxing at home, you'll play an important role in helping her live life on her own terms.

What will you be doing?

• Providing personalised one-to-one care and support.

• Assisting with personal care, mobility and daily routines.

• Supporting nutrition, medication and respiratory care needs.

• Helping her maintain an active social and professional life.

• Providing discreet, respectful support during work and personal activities.

• Following her preferences and individual care plan.

• Promoting independence, dignity and personal choice.

• Working closely with the wider clinical and care team.

What are we looking for?

• At least 6 months' previous care experience.

• A compassionate, empathetic and respectful personality.

• Someone reliable, hardworking and flexible.

• Excellent listening skills and the ability to follow the client's lead.

• A professional, discreet approach that respects privacy and personal boundaries.

• Confidence supporting someone who directs their own care.

• A willingness to learn specialist clinical skills.

• Previous complex care or respiratory care experience desirable.
