About the role
Assistant Management Accountant
£42,000 – £45,000 DOE, Plus Benefits
Duties will include:
- Accounts receivable, including setting up new customer accounts, preparing sales invoices and chasing payments
- Assisting with the implementation of new processes and systems
- Support accounts payable
- Preparing monthly analysis, project reporting and forecasting
- Journal postings
- Assisting with the creation of the month end management accounts pack, including variance analysis
- Reporting into the Financial Controller
- Other ad hoc projects as required
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- A problem solver with the confidence to work using their initiative as well as part of a team
- Current studier of ACA, ACMA or CIMA
- VAT returns
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadline
- Excellent IT skills, highly proficient in the use of MS Office including Excel
