You’ll combine strong technical accounting knowledge with a practical, hands-on approach, working closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business.

About the role

  • Working with Finance teams across the Group to gather, review and challenge reporting information
  • Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and efficiency
  • Supporting wider Finance projects and reporting requirements as the business continues to evolve

About you

You’ll be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting and external reporting experience, ideally gained within insurance, financial services or another complex, regulated environment.
You’ll  have:
  • An ACA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification
  • Experience preparing or reviewing statutory financial statements
  • Strong knowledge of relevant accounting standards and external reporting requirements
  • Experience working closely with external auditors
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across different teams
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to challenge where needed
  • An interest in improving processes and strengthening financial controls

You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced, growing business where priorities can evolve quickly, and you’ll be comfortable combining technical expertise with a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
