Wakefield Caretaker
Secondary School Caretaker -Wakefield
Location: Wakefield
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time 6am-2pm and 10am-6
Pay: Top rates of pay offered
DBS: Current Enhanced DBS essential
Are you an experienced Caretaker looking for your next opportunity in a vibrant school environment? We are currently seeking reliable, proactive, and hands-on School Caretakers to join supportive secondary schools in Wakefield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the school premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Conducting minor repairs and general maintenance
- Managing site security, including opening and locking up the school
- Supporting health and safety compliance
- Liaising with external contractors and school staff
Requirements:
- A current Enhanced DBS is essential
- Previous experience in a similar caretaker role, ideally within a school setting
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
