About the role
Pertemps Swindon are recruiting for a Saleroom Assistant to join our auctioneer client near Cirencester, GL7.
- Permanent
- Up to £27,000 d.o.e
- Monday-Friday 09:30 - 17:30
- Increasing holiday entitlement for length of service
- 2 weeks off over festive period, paid
- Unload, unpack and sort incoming items
- Carefully pack and prepare sold items for collection or delivery to purchasers
- Collect and prepare items for cataloguing, laying out and setting up sale rooms on auction days
- Assist customers with collection incoming and outgoing items as well as viewing items
- Drive company van to collect and deliver items from across the UK
- Ensure security on auction days as well as being a part of phone and internet banking
- Proven customer service skills
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks on a regular basis
- Full UK Driving licence
- Willingness to learn while supporting multiple departments with in a team environment
- Excellent communicator with internal staff and customers both face to face and over the phone
