United Kingdom ISR RECRUITMENT LIMITED Product Manager – Data Platforms * 3 to 6-month contract (initially) * Remote Working * Outside-IR35 * Market Rates The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Product Manager to lead the delivery and evolution of critical data products for a government agency focused on the health sector. Working across data architects, data engineers, data scientists, analysts and business stakeholders, you will bring a strong technical product perspective to data ingestion, pipelines, curated data views and capabilities that turn complex data into meaningful insight and effective services. Skills and Experience: * Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager or Data Product Manager, ideally delivering complex data products or platforms. * Strong technical understanding of data management, ingestion, pipelines and data analysis, with the ability to work confidently with technical specialists. * Experience of Agile delivery, product roadmaps, stakeholder management and cross-functional teams. * Practical knowledge of data governance, data quality, ownership, lineage and controls in a regulated environment. * Experience delivering digital services or transformation within UK government or the wider public sector. * Health-sector experience across organisations such as DHSC, NHS England, UKHSA, MHRA, CQC or NICE, alongside familiarity with GDS standards and government digital delivery. Role and Responsibilities: * Own the data product lifecycle, from discovery and strategy through delivery, adoption and ongoing improvement. * Define product roadmaps, manage backlogs, prioritise requirements and drive delivery across multidisciplinary teams. * Work closely with technical teams on data feeds, ingestion, pipelines, data quality, governance, lineage, access controls and secure implementation. * Use user research, feedback and performance data to inform product decisions and demonstrate outcomes. * Build trusted stakeholder relationships, challenge assumptions constructively and align delivery to user needs and business value. * Support continuous improvement and alignment with Government Digital Service (GDS) product management standards.
