Resolve Recruitment Services is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for day and night shift opportunities based in Newport. If you have at least 18 months’ Class 1 driving experience and are looking for reliable, ongoing work with a respected logistics provider, this could be the ideal role for you.
Who will you be working with?
You will be joining one of the UK’s leading third-party logistics (3PL) providers, recognised for delivering efficient and dependable transport solutions nationwide. Key Responsibilities:
– Safely complete deliveries and collections across the UK in line with planned schedules
– Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
– Accurately complete delivery paperwork, driving hours, and tachograph records
– Liaise with the transport team regarding delays, route updates, or operational issues
– Ensure loads are safely secured and compliant with transport regulations
– Maintain a professional approach and provide excellent customer service at all times
Requirements:
– Valid UK C+E (Class 1) licence with minimal or no penalty points
– Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
– Minimum 18 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience
– General haulage experience preferred but not essential
– Good knowledge of UK roads and transport legislation
– Strong time management and ability to work independently
