Resolve Recruitment Services are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse operation based in Avonmouth, Bristol.
Job Details
- Location: Avonmouth, Bristol, England
- Salary: £27,289.61 per annum
- Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
- Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 15:45
- Friday: 07:30 – 12:30
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Pay Frequency: Monthly
- Security Clearance: BPSS & SC clearance required
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations by accurately picking, packing, loading and dispatching customer goods. The successful candidate will work safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy, cleanliness and health & safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all warehouse health & safety procedures
- Receive and check customer deliveries into the warehouse
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Load trailers within agreed timescales
- Put away stock into racking and designated storage locations
- Carry out manual handling duties safely
- Complete paperwork and sign off completed tasks
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and hygiene standards
- Perform stock integrity and quality checks
- Keep warehouse areas, gangways and external forecourts clean and tidy
About You
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Good communication and team-working skills
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Professional and reliable approach to work
- MHE licences such as FLT, Counterbalance, PPT or Articulated Truck are advantageous
- Must be able to pass DBS and security clearance checks
