Lead Offshore Cables Installation Specialist for a major offshore wind project in Ireland Responsibilities Review of contractor cable system designs and installation methodologies with respect to the Employer's Requirements. Co-ordination of all aspects of the tendering phase including but not limited to managing and responding to clarifications from the project and contractors, technical and commercial evaluation. Work with other package teams and ensure cross package interfacing, cables inputs and outputs are managed efficiently. Preparation of technical documentation and specifications for internal or contractor's use. Participation in meetings with contractor's representatives at all stages of the concept refinement and FEED phases of the project to ensure compliance with Essential Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience; Experience with cable installation and testing; Experience in technical and commercial evaluation of submarine cable systems. Experienced in contract preparation and evaluation for vessels and subsea operations. Experience in subsea cable laying and burial campaigns, cable embedment, submersible vehicle operations, vessel positioning and commercial diving procedures. Submarine cable design, and development of specifications and employers' requirements; Proficient in SHEQ standards for terrestrial and offshore projects, including familiarity with CDMC/ IMO/ IMCA requirements/ recommendations. Experience in managing and delivering complex projects; Experience in negotiating agreements and contracts of significant value
