About the role

We are seeking a confident, organised and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged in learning and maintain high standards of behaviour. The role also involves supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school and building positive relationships with students and staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone considering a career in education or looking to work in a rewarding school environment.

Bramcote College is a friendly, inclusive and multicultural place to work and study. We secured a well-deserved Good judgement in February 2024, and achievement is on a secure upward trend. Our students are well-behaved and motivated. “Classrooms are calm and orderly. Around school, pupils are polite and respectful” - Ofsted 2024. We have excellent support from parents and the community, and a talented and positive staff team. We are ambitious for every student and provide high-quality pastoral care and support, as well as outstanding enrichment opportunities for our students and the local community. We are committed to excellent professional development for all. Continued school improvement is supported by membership of The White Hills Park Trust. A new school will be built over the next two years, with anticipated completion Easter 2028.

"There are high aspirations for all pupils at Bramcote College. The school’s motto encourages pupils to ‘Work hard, Be well, Do well.' Pupils are happy and appreciate the opportunities that the school gives them." Ofsted 2024.
