About the role
Workday Product Owner - HCM & Recruiting | 6 months | £750/day (inside IR35) | London, hybrid (2 days onsite)
A global specialty insurer is looking for a contract Workday Product Owner to take ownership of its People technology roadmap across Core HCM and Recruiting.
The role:
Own the backlog and roadmap for Workday HCM and Recruiting
Run sprint planning and prioritise demand with People function stakeholders
Manage vendors and partners on delivery and service quality
Keep the platform stable, secure and compliant while improvements are delivered
Report clearly on progress, service levels and decisions to senior stakeholders
What you'll need:
Product owner or functional lead experience on Workday, with depth in Core HCM and Recruiting
Agile delivery experience: backlog ownership and sprint cadence
Ability to manage competing priorities across HR, TA and Technology stakeholders
Vendor or SI management experience
Nice to have: experience in financial services or insurance, and exposure to the wider talent, reward and learning tools around Workday.
