Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity? Zest is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school based in Rubery. This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible.

About the Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher with daily lessons. You will also help pupils develop their skills and confidence. You will work with children individually and in small groups. In addition, you will help create a safe and welcoming classroom where every child can learn.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties as a Teaching Assistant will include:

• Supporting the teacher during classroom lessons.
• Helping pupils improve their reading, writing and maths skills.
• Working with small groups and individual pupils.
• Supporting children with additional learning needs.
• Preparing classroom resources and learning activities.

Requirements

To apply for this Level 3 Teaching Assistant job, you should have:

• A relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.
