Pay: £15 per hour – all hours paid
Hours: 40 hours per week (varied shifts)

Resolve Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for two experienced Chefs to join a well-established pub kitchen based in Wigan. This is an excellent opportunity for chefs with previous experience in a busy pub environment who are seeking a stable, full-time role within a supportive team, offering consistent hours and clear, reliable pay of £15 per hour for every hour worked.
Pay and Benefits:
– £15 per hour – all hours worked are paid in full
– Guaranteed 40 hours per week
– Any additional hours worked are paid in full at £15 per hour, with no deductions (e.g. if you work an extra 10 hours, you are paid for all 10 hours)
– Competitive annual salary equivalent of £29,000 – £32,000
– Permanent or Temp-to-Perm options available
The role involves preparing and cooking high-quality pub food, maintaining kitchen standards, and working efficiently during busy service periods.
Kitchen Opening Times:
Week 1: Tuesday 11.30-20.30, Thursday 11.30-20.30, Friday 11.30-17:30
Week 2: Wednesday 11.30-20.30, Thursday 11.30-.20.30, Friday 11.30-20.30
Weekends are arranged between the team, on a rota
You will work 40 hours per week, with a mixture of shifts across the week based on the kitchen opening times.
Key Responsibilities:
– Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
– Assisting with daily kitchen operations
– Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards
– Working effectively as part of the kitchen team
– Supporting busy service periods and ensuring smooth kitchen operations
Requirements:
– Previous pub kitchen experience is essential
– Ability to work flexible shifts across the week
– Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Good team player with a positive attitude
