Role: KS1 Teaching Assistant
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: £95 per day

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the S63 area, starting ASAP on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will work as part of the general classroom team, providing support across the class and helping pupils to engage positively with their learning.

The Role

• Supporting the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom
• Providing general learning and classroom support to pupils
• Helping to manage and promote positive behaviour
• Supporting pupils who may need additional guidance, encouragement or reassurance
• Working with individuals and small groups where required
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Supporting children with SEND within the class as part of the wider classroom provision

Please note: this is not a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant role, although there are children with SEND within the class who will require appropriate support.
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced working with children, ideally within a primary school or KS1 setting
• Confident supporting behaviour and maintaining positive classroom routines
• Patient, nurturing and approachable
• Able to build strong relationships with pupils
• Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Passionate about helping children succeed and develop
