Engineering Project Manager      

£52.46 – £75.70 per hour

One of our Aerospace clients are currently recruiting for their Electronic Systems Engineering leadership team based in Rochester. They require 2 Specialist Engineering Project Manager’s to support the delivery of electronic real time systems to defence and Aerospace customers.

Based in Rochester these roles will require a minimum of 3 days per week onsite, plus 2 days working remotely. They are being offered on a 12-month contract basis with the opportunity of further extension or permanent conversion. The roles have been deemed inside IR35 and can pay a rate of £52.46 per hour PAYE or £75.70 per hour Umbrella.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage Engineering projects through the full lifecycle.
• Give technical direction on electronic real time systems.
• Work closely with global customers and supply chain, operating as cross-functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing innovative Engineering practices, solutions and technologies
• Serve as the primary Engineering point of contact for stakeholders to your project
• Guide and support team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment

Requirements

• Project Management experience in the Aerospace industry
• At least 10 years’ experience in engineering
• Proven experience in leading Engineering projects for electronic real time systems
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related field
• Effective leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• HNC required in an engineering discipline

Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will need to be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance before starting on site
