Location: Birmingham / Midlands (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + £500 per month car allowance + commission

About the Opportunity

An established, employee-owned specialist in electronic security and fire systems is looking for an ambitious, energetic and commercially minded Area Sales Manager to grow and manage its Midlands client base. You’ll own the region and shape the sales strategy that drives sustainable growth and lasting client relationships.

This role suits a self-starter from the security industry who enjoys autonomy, wants to build something in their own patch, and wants to share in the success they help create.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing and delivering a regional growth strategy that balances revenue with customer satisfaction
• Researching and identifying new markets, opportunities and customer needs across the Midlands
• Arranging meetings with prospective clients and presenting a broad range of security and fire solutions
• Preparing sales contracts in line with legal and compliance requirements
• Maintaining accurate records of sales, revenue and invoices, and providing realistic forecasts to the Management Team
• Providing after-sales support and building long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Turning new clients into key accounts and recommending ways to strengthen market presence

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Executive or similar role within the security industry
• A strong sales track record and the ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision
• The ability to build compliant quotes independently using quoting software
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
• Strong commercial awareness and industry knowledge
• Excellent communication, negotiation and rapport-building skills
• A likeable, confident, hard-working and self-driven approach, with the motivation to exceed targets
