Primary PPA Teacher (0.4)

Desian Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Runcorn that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time PPA Teacher (0.4 FTE) to join their team on a long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher looking for a better work-life balance while making a positive impact across the primary age range. The successful candidate will provide high-quality cover during teachers’ Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Your New Role

• Long-term position with the potential for extension.
• Part-time commitment (0.4 FTE, equivalent to 2 days per week).
• Deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.

You will need:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Be confident teaching across different year groups.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
• Be adaptable, organised and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
• Have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
