Year 3 Class Teacher

Desian Education is working in partnership with a large primary school in St Helens to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Class Teacher for a long-term teaching opportunity.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, confidence, and academic progress. This role would suit an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT looking to further develop their classroom practice within a supportive environment.

Your New The Role

• Full responsibility for a Year 3 class.
• Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
• Assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and wellbeing.

What you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.
• A strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for inspiring children and supporting their development.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
