Rail Stores Operative required

Morson is a principal supplier to Transport for London for track resources, and we have teams working round the clock to help deliver our clients maintenance, upgrade and enhancement projects across the Capitals transport network.

We recognise that the way to success is by hiring great people, and we are now looking for a Stores Operative to join our client Transport for London (TFL) at their Northern Line depot at Edgeware, in Northwest London.

Your role will be to help manage the storage, safekeeping and issue of plant, equipment, components and consumables. and maintain accurate inventory records and optimize stock levels. You will help deliver them to site on time to prevent operational delays, all the while helping the smooth operation of the depot and the Northern Line operation.

The opportunity is based on days 07:00 – 15:00 – Monday to Friday
Pay: £15.72 plus holiday pay, either credited or accrued.

Rail experience gained in either a London Underground or Network Rail environment is essential, and the ideal candidate will already have some stores experience, but we will provide training for the right person. A forklift truck licence would also be ideal, but again training could be provided.
