About the role
C++ Software Engineer Location – Gloucester or Hertfordshire. Salary - £53,000 - £60,000 plus package. Security - Please note that this role requires eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance. We’re looking for a Software Engineer to develop and enhance complex simulation software within a highly technical engineering environment. The Role: Develop new software capabilities and improve existing applications. Build high-performance software using C++ and GPU technologies. Work with engineers to translate technical requirements into software solutions. Support research, development and the exploration of emerging technologies. Contribute to the testing and integration of software within wider engineering systems. Requirements: Strong C++ development experience. GPU programming experience using CUDA, OpenGL or Vulkan. Understanding of RF or electro-optical/infrared systems and their underlying physics. Experience with software testing, version control and CI/CD.
