Salary: £35,000 – £40,000

The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join an established team, carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, installations and fault-finding across a range of systems.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong electrical background, good diagnostic skills and experience working with three-phase electrical systems. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, resolving electrical faults and ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical servicing, repairs and planned preventative maintenance.

• Install, upgrade and replace electrical equipment, including lighting systems, distribution boards, switches and sockets.

• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate corrective actions.

• Maintain and test emergency lighting systems and associated safety equipment.

• Carry out electrical motor and pump installations.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with current regulations and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Practical experience in three-phase electrical maintenance and repair.

• Knowledge of domestic, commercial and industrial electrical systems.

• Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or an equivalent recognised qualification.

• Current Wiring Regulations qualification to the latest edition.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A proactive approach to maintenance, problem-solving and safe working practices.

The successful candidate will be a qualified electrician with a practical, hands-on approach and the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently. You will have a strong understanding of electrical installations and maintenance, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
