We’re working with a friendly, established London law firm looking for an ambitious Junior Private Client / Probate Solicitor to join its small, supportive team. You’ll work closely with an experienced solicitor who will provide guidance and support as you continue to develop your skills, confidence and expertise.

What will you be doing?

You’ll gain exposure to a varied and interesting private client caseload, including:

• Drafting Wills and advising clients on their estate planning needs.
• Inheritance Tax (IHT) advice and planning.
• Administration of Estates and probate matters.
• Trusts and related private client matters.
• Court of Protection matters.
• Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs).

Alongside your legal work, you’ll have the opportunity to help generate new business, strengthen existing client relationships and develop the firm’s substantial established client base, including its extensive Wills bank.

Who are we looking for?

You’ll be a newly qualified solicitor, or at an early stage of your post-qualification career, with some experience in private client work and a genuine interest in developing within this area.

The practical details

Location: London
Salary: From £40,000, negotiable depending on experience
Benefits: Bonus scheme and Christmas office shutdown
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am–5.30pm
Working arrangement: Full-time, office-based
