Provide Education is recruiting an experienced Maths Teacher for a secondary school in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. This full-time teaching opportunity is available to start immediately after the October half-term break and will continue until at least Christmas, with the potential for an extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to secondary school students.
• Teach mathematical concepts in line with the school curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support students in preparing for assessments and examinations.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with different abilities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement.

Essential Requirements

• Previous teaching experience in Mathematics is essential.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly.
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and improving student outcomes.
• Relevant teaching qualifications and appropriate safeguarding checks, in line with school requirements.
