Zest Education is working in partnership with an excellent one-form entry primary school in Harborne to recruit a full-time KS1 Teacher for a maternity cover position starting in December 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable teacher who is passionate about making a lasting impact on children’s learning and development. The successful candidate will initially take responsibility for a KS1 class and, crucially, will continue with the same cohort as they transition into Year 2 in Autumn 2027. As Year 2 is such a vital stage in a child’s primary education, the school is seeking a teacher who can provide consistency, stability and high-quality teaching throughout this important period.

The Role

• Full-time KS1 Teacher
• Maternity cover position

• Excellent one-form entry primary school
• Opportunity to move with the class into Year 2 in Autumn 2027
• Paid to scale (MPS/UPS depending on experience)
• Long-term teaching role with continuity for pupils
