Early Years Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting young children during the early stages of their education? Zest Education is currently recruiting for a part-time Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming nursery setting in the Hillfields area of Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys helping children learn, develop and grow in a nurturing environment.

Additionally s an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will support children throughout their daily activities and learning experiences. You will encourage positive development, promote confidence and help create an engaging environment where children can thrive. In addition, you will work closely with experienced staff to ensure every child receives the support they need to reach their full potential. This role would suit an enthusiastic and caring individual with previous nursery or childcare experience who is looking to make a positive impact within an early years setting.

The role:

• Part-time Early Years Teaching Assistant position
• Based in Hillfields, Coventry
• Supporting children within an early years environment
• Assisting with learning and play-based activities
• Encouraging social, emotional and educational development
• Supporting the class teacher and nursery staff throughout the day
• Helping to maintain a safe, engaging and inclusive environment
• Building positive relationships with children and families

The ideal candidate:

• Must have previous nursery assistant or childcare experience
• Experience working with young children is essential
• Understanding of early years development and learning
• Patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
• Able to build positive relationships with children and colleagues
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and committed to providing high-quality support

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
