About the Job * Take ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts, building strong relationships and maximising opportunities. * Identify new business prospects and turn conversations into commercial opportunities. * Develop a thorough understanding of customers, their markets and future requirements. * Work collaboratively with technical and operational teams to deliver the right solutions. * Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate and secure new business. * Keep your finger on the pulse of market developments, competitor activity and emerging opportunities. * Get out and about meeting customers, attending exhibitions and developing your network. * Play a key part in driving sales performance and supporting future business growth. About You * A background in B2B sales or account management, within manufacturing or a technical product environment. * Someone who genuinely enjoys the sales process, from building relationships to closing deals. * This is a complex sales process, so we need someone who can make data based decisions and complete all related supporting admin tasks * Commercially switched on, with the ability to recognise an opportunity and run with it. * Confident, engaging and comfortable dealing with a variety of customers. * Self-motivated, organised and happy taking ownership of your accounts. * Ambitious and keen to develop, with an appetite for new business. * A positive, approachable personality who works well as part of a team. * Most importantly, someone with the right attitude, energy and drive to succeed!
