Junior Software Developer - London, Hybrid   A growing professional services business in London is looking for a Junior Software Developer with Python and Microsoft Azure experience to join their Technology and Data team. This is a great next step for a developer early in their career who wants to keep building their skills and take on more responsibility. It’s a hands-on, end-to-end role for someone who enjoys building software that people actually use. You’ll be working on production systems that make a real difference to how the business operates, not prototypes that never see the light of day.   You’ll work closely with a small, ambitious team to design, build and ship the internal tools, automations and data-driven systems that keep the business running. Python is at the heart of the stack and Azure is where it all runs. The feedback loop between what you build and the impact it has is short. Your work will be visible, your contributions will matter, and as you grow you’ll have a direct hand in shaping how the business scales.   What’s In It for You:

  What You’ll Be Doing:

• Writing clean, well-structured Python for APIs, backend services and data pipelines
• Deploying, managing and scaling applications on Microsoft Azure, keeping production systems reliable and performant
• Designing, building and deploying full-stack web applications and internal tooling used daily across the business
• Monitoring, debugging and improving live systems, taking ownership of what you ship rather than just handing it off
• Using containerisation tools to package and run services consistently across Azure environments
• Working with the wider team to build the Azure-based data infrastructure that supports reporting and analysis
• Joining technical design discussions and code reviews, learning and sharing ideas as the team and platform grow

  What We’re Looking For:

• Solid commercial Python experience. You should be comfortable writing scripts, services and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including deploying and managing applications in an Azure environment
• One to two years of commercial software development experience
• Experience with both front-end and back-end development
• A problem-solving mindset and a real appetite to learn and develop
• Someone who thrives in a small, fast-moving team and communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues
