Recruitment Consultant – Built Environment

An established specialist recruitment consultancy is looking for experienced Recruitment Consultants to join its recently opened London office near Liverpool Street.

The business currently employs 27 people, including a team of six in London. It plans to grow the London operation to between 20 and 30 people over the next 12–24 months, creating genuine opportunities for recruiters who want to progress alongside an expanding team.

The Opportunity

The company is particularly interested in recruiters with experience across:

• Civil and structural engineering
• M&E and building services engineering
• Architecture

Applications are also welcomed from recruiters operating within other professional, engineering or built-environment markets who can demonstrate the ability to develop a desk from scratch.

You could join an established specialist market, develop a niche division or build a new desk around your existing experience, relationships and candidate network.

UK and US Markets

Alongside its UK built-environment divisions, the company offers recruiters the opportunity to work across the US market from its London office.

Successful consultants may also have the opportunity to relocate to the company’s Orlando office in Florida, with potential sponsorship available subject to performance, eligibility and business requirements.

The Role

You will take ownership of a specialist recruitment desk, working across permanent, contract or executive appointments depending on your experience.

The role combines client development, account management and candidate delivery, with the autonomy to develop your market in a way that suits your strengths.

About You

You will ideally have previous recruitment experience within construction, engineering, architecture, property or another professional or technical market.

You should be commercially aware, credible when speaking with professional candidates and hiring managers, and confident managing your own recruitment desk.

Salary and Benefits

The successful Recruitment Consultant will receive:

• £35,000–£50,000 basic salary, depending on experience
