Joseph Parr Limited is a long-established, independent builders' merchant serving trade customers and the public across the North West. We pride ourselves on delivering a fast, reliable, and professional service, supported by a dedicated team of experienced drivers and warehouse staff.

We are currently looking for an experienced *HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB* to join our friendly and supportive team.

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of building materials to customers throughout the North West. This is a multi-drop role that requires excellent driving skills, a strong focus on customer service, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out multi-drop deliveries across the North West.
* Safely load, transport, and unload building materials.
* Operate a HIAB (lorry loader crane) to off-load deliveries where required.
* Complete manual handling and handballing duties when necessary.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with all transport regulations.
* Provide outstanding customer service and represent Joseph Parr Limited professionally at all times.
* Work closely with the transport and branch teams to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently.

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (including a one-hour lunch break).
* Saturday mornings: 7:00am – 11:00am on a rota basis.

What We're Looking ForEssential

* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
* Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
* Strong awareness of road safety and transport regulations.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude.

Desirable

* HIAB licence/certification.
* Experience working within the builders' merchant, construction, or building materials sector.
