About the role
Environmental Compliance Manager – Maldon, Essex
Salary: £50,000 + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-time, On-site
Noble Recruiting is seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Manager for a permanent role in Maldon, Essex.
Working within the timber industry, you will lead a small team, manage environmental compliance, oversee sustainable timber sourcing and ensure regulatory standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage timber supply chain compliance and supplier audits.
- Ensure compliance with UKTR, EUDR, FSC, PEFC and relevant legislation.
- Oversee timber legality, certification and due diligence.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, suppliers and industry associations.
- Report to the Board and support environmental improvements.
Skills & Experience
- Recent timber industry experience essential.
- Strong knowledge of UKTR, EUDR, FSC, PEFC, SFM and TPP.
- Experience in environmental auditing, timber certification and responsible sourcing.
- Excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills.
- Own transport essential.
