Job Title: Finishing Foreman/Foreperson- Healthcare Refurbishment
Location: Middlesbrough
Start Date: November 2026
Duration: 3 Months+
Rate/Salary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Finishing Foreman/Foreperson to oversee the final stages of a healthcare/mental health care refurbishment project in Middlesbrough.
This role requires a candidate with an exceptional eye for detail, a strong background in high-spec finishing, and proven experience managing subcontractor performance through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all finishing, snagging, and defect clearance works to high standards.
Lead and coordinate subcontractors to keep tasks on schedule and ensure quality compliance.
Enforce strict quality control standards, focusing heavily on finer architectural and functional finishing details suited for healthcare environments.
Conduct regular site walk-throughs, maintain clear snagging lists, and drive issues to completion efficiently.
Maintain a safe working environment in line with site health and safety protocols.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Essential background in healthcare or mental health care refurbishment projects, with a strong focus on high-detail finishing.
Track Record: Proven ability to manage subcontractors, coordinate trade teams, and drive the snagging process smoothly.
Quality Focus: Excellent eye for detail with a relentless commitment to quality control.
Certifications Required:
Valid CSCS Card (Gold or Black preferred)
SMSTS or SSSTS
First Aid at Work (Desirable)
