Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming primary school? We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a friendly and supportive primary school in Knowsley.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping children to achieve their full potential and wants to make a positive impact within the classroom.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Work with individuals and small groups to support learning and development
- Assist with classroom preparation and organisation
- Encourage pupil participation and engagement
- Help to create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
- Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing throughout the school day
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare or similar setting
- A positive, enthusiastic and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential
