About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly effective School Business Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team at The Mount Junior, Infant & Nursery School.
The Mount is a welcoming, inclusive and ambitious school with children at the heart of everything we do. We are proud of our caring ethos and commitment to ensuring every child is known, valued and supported to succeed.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to lead the school's business functions, including finance, HR, administration, premises, health and safety, procurement and compliance. The role will be offered at Grade 8 or Grade 9 depending on the experience, qualifications and expertise of the successful candidate.
We are looking for a candidate who:
• Has experience in school business management or a similar leadership role.
• Has strong financial, organisational and communication skills.
• Has the ability to lead, develop and support staff effectively.
• Demonstrates positivity, resilience and a solutions-focused approach.
• Contributes strategically to school improvement and development.
• Shares our commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for children.
