About the role
Job title and organisation: Science Technician - Bishop Young C of E Academy
Salary: B1, scp 4-6, £26,016 to £26,847 per annum pro rata, £21,167 - £21,843 actual
Hours: 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Contract: Permanent
Location: Bishop Young C of E Academy, Bishops Way, Leeds LS14 6NU
Closing Date and Time: Monday 19th October 2026 at 9am
We are looking for a dedicated individual who can:
- Provide support to the Science teaching staff at the Academy.
- Maintaining the laboratories including equipment
- Assisting teachers in the delivery of lessons as directed.
You will be:
- A highly motivated and hard-working individual
- A team-player who can develop positive working relationships
