Assistant Management Accountant

Leeds, West Yorkshire Hays Accounts and Finance We are recruiting for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation in Leeds on an initial 3-month temporary contract.This is a varied role supporting the production of management accounts, month-end processes, financial reporting and stakeholder management across the business. Key Responsibilities Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports Posting accruals, prepayments and journals Budget monitoring and variance analysis Managing invoicing and recharges Supporting audit requirements and maintaining financial controls Providing financial advice and support to stakeholders Identifying and implementing process improvements Building strong working relationships across finance and the wider organisationAbout You AAT qualified, part-qualified CIMA/ACCA, or qualified by experience Previous experience in an Assistant Management Accountant or similar role Strong month-end and management accounts experience Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels SAP experience would be advantageousThis is an excellent opportunity for a proactive finance professional looking to join a collaborative team in a hybrid role with an immediate start available.
